Perfect Dress! : Strapless Chiffon Goddess Gown Prom Dress Formal Knee-Length Junior Plus Size, XL, Ivory
I ordered this dress to wear to our annual Halloween Carving Party (I'm going as the spider queen). It was reasonably priced and I figured it's something I could wear again to a wedding or a night out with my hubby. I took my measurements and read the reviews and decided to order the XL (UGH!). I wear a 36C and have a 35" waist (which I'm working on making smaller!). The dress came very quickly which I really appreciated since I'm trying to piece this lil' ensemble together and having the dress helps. Tried it on and it's really big on me - the bust and the waist will all have to be taken in substantially. I expected that I would have to have it taken in based on the reviews but I wonder if I had gotten the large perhaps I could have gotten away with less alterations.
The dress is gorgeous though - it's a great length and I love the chiffon (it hides all the flaws like chunky hips and thighs!). The dress is very slimming on and I love the bling at the waistline. It comes with a sheer black wrap too.
